Resume Coaching

We will coach you on how to create a strong resume, one that will increase your chances of gaining an interview.

In this 2 x 1 hour coaching program we will teach you principles that will serve you well now and throughout the rest of your career. We will help you craft a thoughtfully-worded resume that:

  • stands out from the crowd
  • delivers a clear narrative representing your key strengths, achievements and capabilities
  • accounts for how it will be analysed by Applicant Tracking Systems
  • will impress recruiters

Clients report an increase in interview invitations as a result of their improved resume. Additionally the process builds their confidence and ability to clearly articulate their strengths and achievements at interview.

Please note that this is not a resume writing service. Employing someone to write your resume for you will not empower you to speak effectively to your resume at interview, nor will it equip you to update and tailor your resume for future roles.

Session 1

We coach you on the principles of an interview–winning resume including:

  • optimal resume layout: for analysis by Applicant Tracking Systems as well as recruiters
  • important keywords: where and how to include them
  • achievement statements: how to write them and why they're important
  • career profile: how and why to tailor a carefully crafted profile
  • how to market yourself in your resume to potential employers

Session 2

We review and refine the changes you have continued to make to your resume as a result of session 1, focusing on your achievement statements and career profile as these, when done well, do make employers and recruiters sit up and take notice.

Cost and Bookings

$495.00 in total for the 2 sessions

$220.00 per subsequent session if required, e.g. to focus on targeted questions or tailored cover letters
